Use at least ten parts water for one part pearls. Add the pearls to boiling water, stir occasionally, and cook for 20 to 30 minutes depending on the size. Then remove the pot from the heat and let the pearls steep for another 20 minutes, then rinse with cold water.

How long do cooked pearls last?

It's best to consume them within four hours. They will harden in the refrigerator and lose their springy texture. If you want to keep them fresh longer, steep them in sugar syrup.

How many servings does one bag yield?
